Smelly Welly!

So Savannah passes gas like a grown up. It makes me want to plug my nose and run. I am sure you all find this information super fascinating. Maybe this is a bit inappropriate for our daughters website but oh well.

Other interesting news: Savannah sleeps in her car seat because of her reflux. She is getting big for it though because she can almost wiggle her way out of it when she is awake. So we thought maybe we would start to sleep her in her crib today. We slanted the mattress to try and help her. Well, tonight at 8:00pm, which is an early bedtime for her, I laid her in her crib. She immediately started scratching her face, arching her back, turning to the side, and completely woke up. Now she is sitting in my lap as I type this wide awake. Yippee for me. :( Needless to say, she is going back in the car seat for the night. Guess she isn't ready for her bed.

She smiles tons now, laughs, swats at toys some and is very interactive and talkative. She also likes to watch baby Bach when in the right mood. She follows the toys and kicks her legs and coos if she likes what they are showing. Well, I am off to feed the bambino and hope she goes back to sleep. Good night.

Packin' it in!

Savannah is up to 6 and a half ounces per feeding people. She is like a milk fiend! If Shoshanna lived near us we would challenge her to a race! (Savannah would win, and then she would puke it all up and get disqualified!)

Smiling at mommy! She was talking the whole time I took these pictures. She is getting more and more vocal.

smiley closeup!

leaning forward now that I've tired myself out.

Oh Daddy that camera looks tasty!

Sort of leaning forward now.

Strong legs!

hello!

She's so cute!

Side shot of excited baby!

We still have to put blankets in there to make her fit snug, but she can reach the bottom and loves to bounce!

She loves it!

Hi Mom!

She can finally stand up in it!

She is so cute in this thing. She gets so excited!

The exersaucer is her new favorite toy.

Squealing in the exersaucer!

Sort of sliding down in the seat. The only reason she's wearing these is cause she threw up on her pretty blue overalls this morning.

Hand. It's what's for dinner.

She's a hotty!

See, this is what got us into this mess with Savannah in the first place.

Wow. Look at my wife after her hair appointment. Delayne needs to leave :)

Seriously, stop it.

So, I'm up late, trying to study Criminal procedure for my final next week. It is 12:30. I decided to go online and see what the statistics on my site are. One of the features that I can see is how people get to my site. Like, what search terms they used to get here. This way, I can tell if people are able to get to the site just be googling Savannah's name. One search query was, "naked bath daughter pics". EWWWWWW!!!!! The IP address was from San Fransisco. Big surprise! There are no naked pictures of little kids on this site! Go away! Geez. When my daughter gets older I'm going to have to close the site. Too many sickos out there.

Mrs. Peterson expressing surprise over how stunningly cute I am. She doesn't know it yet, but....I'm sort of a big deal. My parents tell me so all the time. Bet she didn't know that she impliedly gave her consent to be posted on the web!

Grandma, Debbie Peterson, and the Savannah-meister.

Mrs. Peterson can make me laugh with this clicky noise she makes with her tongue! Daddy was wrong! Strangers are fun!

Grandma is trying to get me to be sociable even though it is past my bedtime.

A calmer smile.

So you're making faces at me. so what. I've got these cool keys to shake around.

Wait a minute! Are you making faces at me?

OK! Now I'm really excited!

Woohoo! I like being a baby!

"hanging out" with mom

Smiling for the camera. Notice the juicy face. She is a lot more drooly than she was before. We still love her though!

Hmmm.....now who could have gotten her that packer outfit?

She must've fallen asleep swatting the seal.

Something new every day

I have more pictures coming. AND I just wanted to say how interactive Savannah is now. If you smile at her, make a face at her, she will smile back at you! If you do this repeatedly, you will get a laugh. It is by now a tried and true formula. Even when she is upset she will do this (unless she is really really mad) and it is a good way to calm her down. At night she is less prone to do it, but during the day she is very playful. My parents are coming up in a couple of weeks, and I'm very excited about them seeing her. She is very smiley now! The last time they saw her, she was about5 or 6 pounds! She's grown quite a bit!
