Well, sort of...

OK. She isn't TOTALLY breastfeeding, it is off and on. Apparently breastfeeding is fairly difficult compared to the bottle. She IS doing it, it is just not as much of a sure-thing as the bottle. It's progress, though!

Making the Breast of it. (Yes. It's juvenile. And yes, it's still funny)

Savannah is now breast-feeding. Just like that. Well OK not JUST like that. She has breast-fed 3 times now. We are keeping our fingers crossed, but we have faith. (keeping our fingers crossed, and having faith? Antithetical? Blasphemous? No Way!) She seems to have gotten her fill each time, although so far she's fed every hour. Not sure how this is going to play out in the wee hours, but hey, for now, she's nursing. Maybe this is premature. But I don't think so!

Closer

She slept for a while in that thing. I don't even know what to call it.

A picture of the new contraption that Angel bought today at the baby emporium. It allows Angel to have her hands free. It is putting Savannah to sleep.

I think she is trying to put her hands behind her head, but her head is too stinking big. I can say that, she's my daughter!

This is probably the best picture of her that we have.

Me and babs.

Grandma with her new friend.

This is a funny picture. She is sort of cross-eyed.

Loving the car seat.

Mom is not having as much success.

See what I mean?

She was asleep anyway. That kid could sleep anywhere, I swear.

Hey, I gotta eat sometime!

You can tell here that she is not asleep yet.

She was sitting on the edge of the dining table. (with me holding her, of course)

Trying to study and put her to sleep at the same time.

Savannah hates it when I am "scratchily". I needed to shave.

Savannah doesn't really like the swing.

If you look at the dates, you'll notice that I didn't take pictures for like a week. That's because I was in Omaha for that Trial Competition. I took this on a Tuesday, when I came out from the bedroom. Apparently Angel had a hard time getting her back to sleep after the latest feeding. I thought this picture was adorable.

me and sweetie

Savannah is like a sack of potatoes on mom. Angel has really learned to multi-task since she was born.

Our kitchen is sort of a mess.

even closer.

Hello sugar!

Yawning in the car seat. She loves the car seat.

her feet don't quite touch yet.

closeup

Suprisingly, Savannah really liked the exersaucer. She got a real kick out of it, and she (more or less accidentally) swatted away at the toys.

This is Savannah's favorite spot.

She loves to be held on her stomach.

top down shot

She was so squirmy!

Mom and babes hanging out.
