January Update

You may have noticed that I haven't updated the blog lately and that's because we don't have internet at the house anymore. When we did have it, it was because of Angel's job, they were letting her E-commute from home. SO, my posts may be few and far between now. I'm trying to figure out a way to post regularly, right now I am writing this from work (it is a saturday and I'm working, which should speak volumes) but obviously I can't post from work during the weekdays because...that's not what they pay me for! Anyways, beyond that, Savannah is doing great! She has FOUR teeth now, and displays them proudly. She is pulling up on EVERYTHING and shuffles along whatever she can get a handhold onto. She is like a baby mountain climber :). Today she stood up and was clinging to the entertainment center and gave me a look like, "Daddy I can't get down!" and then she fell and I caught her. She laughed and thought it was funny; it was cute. As far as personality goes, she is so much more expressive now; she tries to repeat everything we say now, usually simple words like "bottle", "uh oh!" and others. She can't pronounce them correctly, but you can tell she is processing it and trying to mimic us. She of course crawls everywhere, and loves to get into places where she doesn't belong; we are definitely having to take extra measures to baby-proof the house. She is at the stage that she has obtained the dexterity to grab anything and everything and put it into her mouth, so we really have to watch her. Other than that, she really is a good baby; when we tell her "no" she definitely stops, or at least hesitates, she is learning to obey (i'm wondering how long that will hold up, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it) and she is generally cute all the time.
