Yippee!!

The oxygen tank will be picked up on Monday. We are officially done with that annoying stuff. I have to admit-not having the oxygen to fall back on makes me a bit more paranoid, but Savannah is doing fine and their is nothing to worry about.

Also, I have been putting Savannah on her stomach a lot more to play and this week she finally rolled over from her stomach to her back. A first for her. She also is starting to push up a lot better and grab toys while on her stomach. This is a major accomplishment for her as she hasn't spent much time on her belly and needs to build up her arm strength.

Zack takes the Bar on Tuesday and Wednesday this coming week. Then life will be so much more fun and Savannah can spend a lot of quality time with her daddy. :)

More Updates!

Savannah has been off her oxygen for a week and a half now and she is doing just great without it. We are planning on returning all of her tanks and machines this week. It will be so exciting. We will have to have an oxygen free party.

Savannah went to her follow-up appointment with the NICU clinic. She is doing good overall, but she is going to start some physical therapy. She doesn't like to push up when laying on her stomach, she isn't quite sitting up yet, and the doctor says we should work on the muscle tone in her legs. There are many different reasons this all comes about. From laying in the NICU for so long, and because of her reflux she hasn't spent a lot of time on her stomach and she weighs quite a bit which can also be a disadvantage. She needs stronger arms to hold herself. :) I guess we can be glad she doesn't have an eating problem anymore.

Savannah has been eating more baby food. She doesn't like bananas but she does like sweet potatoes and prunes and her cereal quite a bit. I am going to try some peaches today and see how it goes.

She gets more and more interactive everyday. She loves to grab at everything and you really have to watch her at the table now. She has already put her hand in my dinner. She likes to be tossed up and down (assuming she hasn't just eaten) and play airplane with daddy. She babbles all the time and I am trying to get her to say da da. I think it might be a while.

She is trying to type with me right now so I had better end this post.
