Hi from Savannah!

I thought it was time for a little update. First, big news, Savannah is going to be a big sister. Yes, that's right-I'm pregnant. It was a big surprise, but we are excited. We are praying this pregnancy will be much different than the last.

Now about Savannah. She must weigh at least 20lbs now (we haven't had her weighed since July) because my arms are getting tired and she is very pudgy with very fat legs. So cute though. She sits up pretty good on her own now and we are working on rolling from our stomach to our back. She goes from her back to her stomach great, but then can't figure out how to get back. We are doing little exercises to help her with that.

She babbles a lot-we are still waiting for a da da. Not yet but hopefully soon. She eats tons of baby food and rice cereal and sleeps about 11 to 12 hours at night. We make her cry it out at bedtime now, which is nice for us since bedtime is always the same time. She seems to be doing okay with it. She sleeps in her bed like a big girl now, no car seat. Yeah! She moves around like crazy during the night.

She smiles, laughs, gets excited, lovers her exercauser, loves it when daddy gets home from work, likes going outside, taking walks, seeing other people. She is a very social baby. Although, she has started the wailing when mom isn't home and someone else is watching her including daddy. We are working on breaking that since I really like going out on my own. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Savannah is getting dedicated at church on September 4th. It is so wonderful to have a happy healthy baby now. I think that's all I have for now.

Fun in a basket!

She is very grabby now. No one's mouth or chin is safe.

So, explain to me how these mustache-things work, again?

She likes to grab shirts.

Having fun with Grandpa again.

Look at the rash around her mouth from drooling so much! Yeesh.

Here she is, having fun with Grandpa Craig.

I pushed the basket around the house and she got a real kick out of it. Plus, it helps develop her sitting-up skills.

She's talking to me in this one.

She's got lots of toys in there.

Come play with me daddy!

Hi!

Notice the disgusting bib she's wearing. It is just stained beyond repair. We are going to have to throw it away.

Savannah loves the laundry basket! It is one of her favorite places to play.
