Umbrellas and Gentian Violet

My hand got stained in the process also. I finally got Addy to calm down a little by telling her that she had a purple hand just like mommy, we were twins. You can tell from this picture she is still trying to recover from the trauma of a purple hand.
Let me explain-Landon has been using some medicine called Gentian Violet for Thrush in his mouth. Addy got a hold of it opened it and it poured on her hands. Funny thing-it stains-and can not be washed off. You just have to wait for it to wear off. As you can tell by her face she did not like it and was very upset all night that I couldn't get it off. She kept saying get this purple stuff off my hand. Also, Savannah didn't want to touch her or have her touch anything because she was afraid Addy would get it all purple. It was quite the debacle. Zack and I were cracking up and Addy's reaction. She is still asking me today to get the purple off. It is going to take a few days.

Trying out the new umbrellas in the rain. Savannah wore that dress almost all day yesterday and she asked to wear it again today.

Savannah's 4th Birthday!

It was a dinosaur themed party and we had a real live dinosaur there. Isn't she cute. She loves dinosaurs and wearing princess dress-up clothes. She has a wide variety of tastes.
The dinosaur cookie cake.

The Dinosaur liked to shake her tail for us.

She changed out of her dino outfit and had to try one of the dress-up dresses we got her. Her favorite color is purple. She hasn't even tried the pink dress. Luckily Addy likes that one.

Addy got in on the party fun. The dress is one of the dress-up dresses Zack and I got Savannah. The umbrella was also Savannah's but Papa Tom and Grandma Vickie got Addy one of her own on Sunday as having just one was never going to work.
